Rum Nation is an Italian company that was started in 1999, when founder Fabio Rossi became interested in Rum. Rossi has a long history in importing Whisky and it was, ironically perhaps, on a distillery visit to Scotland that he first discovered his penchant towards Rum. Years after this visit, Rum Nation was born, and has been distilling and bottling Caribbean Rum ever since.
Rum Nation 18 Year Old is distilled and matured in Panama in ex-Bourbon and ex- Sherry casks, a double-maturation process which tends to impart slightly more complex notes. Around six to eight thousand bottles are produced annually, and shipped overseas to Italy where they are bottled. The 18 year old's offering is complex and intriguing. It gives up it’s the intense flavours of the cask to be enjoyed by any palate and is a perfect pairing with some good quality milk chocolate.

Soft, deep with Sun dried raisins, dates, coffee and sweet peaches.
